Lex Buca cuts through doubt with latest release “Faithless (Sacrifice)”

Lex Bucha
’s latest release, “Faithless (Sacrifice)” is an uncompromisingly intense celebration of rebellion, spiritual struggle and freedom. The imagery is dramatic from the start with blood moons, angels, flames, chains and a devil grabbing the narrator’s halo. The chorus's most confrontational edge comes in "I've been building up an appetite / Waiting for a sacrifice," and the decision to turn away from salvation adds another layer of defiance. Not so much quiet resolution as getting out from under expectations. Bucha turns inner turmoil into a theatrical, dark statement about depravity, liberation and wanting to wear a different crown.
