Prinz Grizzley's latest release, "A Mountain To Be Tamed (The Struggling)" is an honest picture of setbacks, loneliness and the battles we fight inside ourselves. The song’s recurring imagery, “Everywhere I go there’s a mountain to be tamed,” is about a life where the hurdles are impossible to shake. Its writing refuses to make the narrator a victim or a villain, too, acknowledging “a sinner” and “a saint” in the same fight. The confession is credible thanks to the failed plans, the bottle and the ‘devil waiting’. Grizzley channels his own upheaval into a searching piece about living with the darkness that follows you.
