"MADRAS" is a happy drop swinging between musical influences from Priya Ragu's Tamil roots, delivering happiness and cultural Identity. I like the freedom this approach gives me the most. The track doesn't force itself into any category, but lets different ideas coexist naturally. It's also a playful invitation to bring the city into the song's imaginary world. "Hey Mr. Madras give me a ride Show me all the city lights of madras" MADRAS, to me, is an ode to a boundary-less identity, a balance of a strong sense of home and an adventurous musical spirit that cannot be boxed in.
