Jay Lapp + Josh Kanusky's latest release, "See Me," is a folk-tinged love song with country and Americana influences. It is a very romantic, warm song that comes straight from the heart. I love the simple, emotional premise that sometimes the smallest gestures can say more than an elaborate declaration ever could. Acoustic guitar, strings, and pedal steel provide a warm bed for the passionate vocal delivery, giving the song an intimate, familiar feel. And then the line, ' One look from you, I swear it's true.' That feeling of not having to explain yourself, because the other person knows. "See Me" is the perfect song for that quiet drive home with someone who makes the everyday extraordinary.
