Oduwole's latest release, "Green Flowers," is an Alt Pop statement that takes memory loss and changing relationships and makes them hopeful at the heart. The track is built on a piano-and-guitar hook and captures tough times and the refusal to let the darkness win. The song's central image of green shoots forcing their way through tough ground is satisfyingly resilient. Change can be painful, Oduwole knows, but it also offers the possibility that good can come from it.
