Kat Greta's latest release, "I Know What This Is," mixes the vague "almost" with a more bittersweet emotional story, with bright, lively production. That contrast is what makes the track tick. It was lively enough, but it had in it the hesitation and the expectancy of something not quite defined. Sometimes the answer is silence, and there is a quiet maturity in knowing that, especially when clarity isn't going to come. "I Know What This Is" lives in that weird liminal Space of hope and acceptance, where you know something in your gut before you can say it. Smart on the outside, deep on the inside.
