"Burning Heart" is a smoldering slice of desire, darkness, and magnetic attraction, channeling the vibe of an 80s synthpop classic from Berlin trio Dina Summer. The lyrics paint a cinematic nightscape of fading light, silver smoke, and a dimly lit floor. The song's seductive tension sets in immediately with "You come to me in the nite / Your shadow stretches through the dark". The chorus only heightens that sentiment with "You move like thunder," adding an unusual sense of drama to the track. Dina Summer crafts an ultra-polished synthpop track that feels timeless, nocturnal, and nostalgic, but not too much.
