Live Oak Sunburst's latest release, “Psychic Reading” is a contemplative indie-folk song based on intuition, uncertainty and the desire to know what’s next, marking a more reflective moment for Live Oak Sunburst. Piano and acoustic guitar provide a gentle foundation, while understated percussion allows the song to slowly build to a more emotionally-charged chorus. This arrangement allows the track to move in a considered way without losing intimacy. There's something about 'Psychic Reading' that feels like a natural thing to think about late at nite, not a forced one. There’s an atmospheric vibe and measured songwriting that should appeal to those who like their indie folk to leave room for thought, feeling and unanswered questions.
