Bailey Hyneman sings from bittersweet goodbyes to bright horizons on “Better Days”

Bailey Hyneman's latest release, "Better Days," is the start of a new, very personal chapter in her life. The track comes from a quiet place of hope, written in the summer of 2024 while she was living in Nashville.

Hyneman was dealing with the effects of a hard time in her life at that time. She remembers what she used to think about her future and sees that it has all changed. Some of the people she thought would be there for her weren't, but others came forward with unexpected kindness and help. The emotional core of "Better Days" was the complex mix of gratitude and sadness.

"Better Days" isn't about acting like everything is fine in the end. It about accepting the gray areas of life while still hoping for something better. Hyneman gently reminds people that not all good friends will stay friends, but things might get better.
