True Tales' latest release, “Ain’t Found Nothing Like You,” is about knowing that wherever you go and whatever you do, nothing in the world compares to the power of one significant connection. It’s a humorous take on traveling, missed chances, and eternal love. The lyrics talk about passports, souvenirs, and rendezvous around the world, only to find that nothing beats the one left behind. The emotional core of the song is the repetition of the line "No I ain't found nothing like you". I like that the travel imagery slowly dissolves into regret and makes the search personal, not glam. “Ain’t Found Nothing Like You” is a sweet reminder that sometimes you don’t know what you got until it’s gone.
