Kasper Granroth’s latest release, “Ride To Survive,” is a strong statement of self-discovery, opening with a nice guitar-and-drums combo. The lyrics move from questioning past decisions to a clearer sense of independence and self-worth, which I like. “Got off the ride, the ride to survive” tells of the turning point, the refusal to be trapped in draining cycles. "I have everything I need, I deserve it" is a nice constant reminder. It reminds you to stop asking for permission to be worthy. It’s a gritty record about getting up, picking yourself up, and moving on.
