Close Your Eyes's latest release, "Drop That!," is a strong, confident, stage-ready energy. The track is based on an unapologetic attitude of ambition, self-belief, and performance, starting with the opening statement, "Mama, you raised a star. And that confidence spills right onto the dance floor with the refrain of "Come, come, baby, let's dance" and "I'm taking the fast lane," which keeps the momentum going. Drop That! is for movement, for moments in the spotlight, for anyone happy to step forward without shrinking themselves. It's a hands-up chorus; it's a raising-the-bar celebration.
