Akanimo delivers "Free Will", an afrobeat single that hints at a theme of personal choice and independence. It invites listeners to wonder whether they can create their own path rather than having social expectations dictate every step. Afrobeat is a natural fit for that message, as its rhythm-driven sound speaks to self-determination and confidence. The story is open to interpretation, but the concept gives listeners a relatable platform to decide who they want to be.
