Nervous City Nervous Self's latest release, "Land of the New," is a musical journey to somewhere just out of sight. The song is a travelogue that narrates the story of an ambitious protagonist who resembles an explorer in search of a New Land, binoculars in hand and a love melody on his lips. Something romantic lives in the uncertainty of the journey, especially when the destination is still near. Another trace of wonder is the idea that love can be written in a song, or written on a map. “Land of the New” beautifully encapsulates anticipation, ambition, and emotional exploration.
