Fish.Scale's latest release, “Moments,” is a laid-back R&B vibe with rap lyricism and storytelling, an easygoing character, and conversational appeal. The first line of the song, “Tonight I guess the purpose is, for you to take my kid like social services,” is quirky right off the bat and makes for an interesting start. Then you got the cool zone of the R&B coolness and the rap flow. Different crowds might like it. “Moments” has a vibe so accessible it lets the women lean in and gives the fellas plenty of room to go with the flow.
