Sulkyman’s latest release, "The Things I Said," is a rare thing, like an old book that you pick up and it has something to say. The recording is part of the larger Lost Tapes Collection and offers a glimpse of music made in the early to mid 90’s while exposing the early days of an artist creating a unique voice. “I can’t believe I’ve actually found the lost tapes after all these years,” says Chris. That element of rediscovery adds a little more emotional weight to the track. Good songwriting can outlive its moment of inspiration, as “The Things I Said” reminds us.
