Xav Clarke’s latest release, “Harrison Digital Ford Dust” is a wildly imaginative trip that blurs memories, the absurd, and heartfelt reflection. The track is inspired by a long-lost school yearbook and plays out like a surreal cinematic dream of duelling Indiana Jones impersonators who become symbols of identity, memory, and self-mythology. Every eccentric detail is in the detail of Clarke’s inventive songwriting, while the layered instrumentation, omnichords and analogue synths, weathered acoustic guitars, creates a vivid, textured soundscape.
