Josh Augustin and Sam Winemiller make up the Minnesota band Vansire. They are still working on their quietly magnetic indie pop sound. Their new release, "For the Moment" starts with dreamy synths and jangly guitars that sound familiar right away but are also a little hard to understand.
Their understated delivery makes ideas about time, change, and experiences that people of different ages have had together more interesting. The way the track goes is comforting and close, like a thought you don't want to forget at night.
