Hayden Everett unveils a Cabin-recorded new single "Roll On Thru"

Hayden Everett's voice returns with quiet strength in his new song, "Roll On Thru." This is the final taste of his highly anticipated album, "So The Sun Can Pour," which will be released on April 17. The track was recorded in the cabin that his great-grandfather built in the Sierra Mountains.

Everett's soft voice and acoustic guitar are in charge. "Roll On Thru" starts off feeling very personal and real, then builds to a chorus, "It will roll on thru," that will stay in your head long after the music stops. It finds the right balance between looking inside and outside, inviting moments of pause and reflection while also having a quietly hopeful energy.

Everett is a great pianist and lyricist, and this is clear in a beautiful piano solo that makes the song's main point, storms keep the grass green, and they always pass. There are layers of instruments that build around his voice without drowning it out.
