JP Enfant fulfills all criteria on the "Somewhere Else" EP

Maren Monika Brombeiss, Cuevawolf, and former Trouw & De School resident JP Enfant form a trio in this immersive production. This project is a label and event series that features music made at 432 Hz, a frequency that is known to improve emotional well-being. As Psychedelic Romance's label side, JP Enfant presents the five-song EP Somewhere Else, which features a remix by UK-based artist LCY. Somewhere Else, genre-bending, playful, and exquisitely refined, captures the emotions we've been repressing for a while.

The ethereal synth sequences, soft percussion, and just-right driving energy of "Dreamwave" make it ideal for deep house listening and clubbing, and it immediately puts a smile on one's face. Another upbeat track is "Muzieklokaal," which deftly blends bass-heavy styles with blissful breaks. Join JP Enfant on a journey that is deeply moving, inspiring, and healing as the trio achieves their original goal. The EP Somewhere Else is a magical medley of wonderfully gentle and vibrantly energetic sounds that transports listeners on a soothing voyage.

Somewhere Else by JP Enfant

Two gentle pieces, "Drips" and "City Whisper," softly conclude the original tracks; the latter offers a particularly calming experience. The entire EP is so contemplative that it will make you feel incredibly light. The result is the perfect score for a "Psychedelic Romance" in terms of auditory representations. "Muzieklokaal" has a club-oriented remix by LCY, one of the most promising British artists working today, with heavy breakbeats. As the song moves between LCY's signature dispersed beats and four/four rhythms, it becomes harder to predict what's coming next. Overall, it appears like this project will be absolutely fantastic, with the declared aim of "creating purposeful healing frequencies through music and art that ultimately raise and harmonize our audience’s vibration." This EP gives hope for that objective.
