Julie Christensen's latest release, “Don’t You Push," is a gritty and open track. The images are clear from the start, though we see destruction, we shouldn't be diminished by it. The bilingual chorus also carries emotional weight, as "No me pisotees" becomes a powerful demand for dignity. Christensen’s storytelling makes the track feel immediate and grounded, balancing personal exhaustion with a larger resistance to being pushed down. It's intimate, tense, and quietly defiant. Overall, the result is urgent, grounded and human, if you will.
