Cyrena Wages' latest release, "Same Shit, Different Century," is a complete track about attitude, wit and pure rebellion. Lines like "I'd rather swim with them" and "Let's rumble / Let's rage" establish a fearless persona, but the song's central idea is the continual audacity of gender norms. The headline "Woman seeks source of men's / Audacity" is a witty and frustrated mix. This song is all about rebellion, and it seems that Wages is not one to be caged in. Same Shit, Different Century is bold, unapologetic, and intentionally raucous. It's the spirit of a wild woman that cannot be tamed."
